The event is held within Llanelli's beautiful award winning Millennium Coastal Park.
It is suitable for all standards of runners, fun runners, wheelchair athletes and power walkers.
Now in its fifth year this high quality event is rapidly growing in stature.
The numbers of participants are increasing as news spreads of the slick organisation, great atmosphere, beginner friendliness, superb memento's and the many other reasons why this is in the top 10 half marathons of the Runners World road racing events calendar.
Ideally placed on the training schedule for the Virgin London Marathon you can use this event to complement your marathon training plan

The event is organised by Human Being Active and supported by our partners Carmarthenshire County Council and the Llanelli Waterside project.
The same team is also involved in organising other prestigious events in this region of South Wales ,,, including the Llanelli Waterside 10k, Llanelli Waterside Triathlon and the women only power walking event the Great Welsh Walkathon
To Race ...
Occupying 20kms of coastline on the Burry Estuary, the Millennium Coastal Park encompasses the Llanelli Waterside and overlooks the spectacular Gower Peninsula.
It features an unique array of attractions linked together by a stunning 22km traffic-free coastal path / cycle-way, stretching from Bynea Gateway in the east through to Pembrey Country Park in the west.
Some of the many attractions located within the Park include the National Wetlands Centre of Wales, Machynys Peninsula Golf Club and Burry Port Marina.
The award winning Discovery Centre, situated at the centre of the Park, is a landmark building providing a focal point for the Millennium Coastal Park and North Dock developments.
There are not many better places to take part in a half marathon. 
If you decide to give the event a miss why not take your family for a cycle by the sea and enjoy the stunning views. Pass Burry Port lighthouse and through the spectacular sand dunes to Pembrey Country Park.

We are committed to the support of charities via the events we organise.
A part of every event entry fee received is allocated to charity. Also there are funds raised through sponsorship by the many thousands of people taking part and given directly to the charity of their choice.
Our aim is to help a selection of worthy causes that provide help towards others at local and national level.
